I have been looking at Microchip and MikroElektronika’s websites and have come across an idea to fit a GPS board via USB to the computer or laptop and to put a GSM card or GSM2 card with my Control Systems or keypads to be connected to the computer via USB as well to receive GPS data when queried from another computer with the similar system. My Control System allows this as my UART to the USB is able to cater to more than 1 UART connection to the bus, although this has only being tried with multiple UART Control Systems. Accordingly, with this solution, this would allow for the person to find out the location of his/her colleagues and of the owner’s items fitted with this system and a computer.
